Richard Greenwood had a couple of domains registered with Godaddy on an account which fundementally limited what he could do with them. All he had ever done was to have an image with a simple contact form for Personal Training work around London.
He knew that the website could do better for him in terms of SEO and is thinking of developing the site. Godaddy just seemed to be restricting the potential.
It was decided to create an account with 1and1 who had a promotional deal on. Transfer the domains to the new account and get the optimisation right from the start. There was also email addresses associated with the domains which required backing up and new mail boxes created at the new host so that Richard could stop his Godaddy account.
Now Richard has a WordPress based site with far more capacity than his old one which is easier for people to find on the web. It is secure and regularly backed up and is once again completely in his control regarding development.
The website is currently a single simple landing page which loads a random header image each time it is loaded. Below is a contact form.
Richard now has the world of WordPress at his finger, though is still undecided which direction to take.
