Jules Slack had registered her domain name and needed a website designer for her training business. While I setup WordPress for the website with 1and1 Jules did some homework. First off she put the words into Google which she wanted people to use in order to find her website, making a note of them. With the results, she then looked at half a dozen of the sites that came up making note of what she liked and disliked about each website.
This told us:
From this a theme was chosen and tweaked so that it did what we wanted. Jules came up with the copy and the imagery for the website and her husband sketched an idea for her logo. The pages were built and I used Pixlr to trace the logo and make a transparent png file for the website.
Once Jules was happy with the site, the maintenance page was removed and the site was “live”. I then went about creating all the internal links to help the user and also sorted out the SEO including registering the new WordPress website with the major search engines.
The end result is a fully responsive website configured to meet Googles “Mobile Friendly” criteria which has loads more potential for development.
